Bahnhof Einbeck-Salzderhelden

Short facts

  • Einbeck

The Einbeck-Salzderhelden railroad station was opened in 1987 and  has borne the name since 1994.

The Train station Einbeck-Salzderhelden is located around 5 km from Einbeck in the village of Salzderhelden, a district of Einbeck.
Salzderhelden has been connected to Hannover, Kreiensen and Göttingen by the Metronom regional express line RE2 every one hour since 2005. Every two hours there is a train connection from Salzderhelden in the direction Harz via Goslar to Bad Harzburg.

Since the reactivation of the Ilmebahn line (2018) between Bahnhof Einbeck Mitte as well as theOtoo-Hahn-Straße train stop and Einbeck-Salzderhelden, passenger trains are once again running hourly between the two towns.

In addition, another "train stop" was opened in Einbeck in 2022, the Bahnhaltestelle BBS/PS.SPEICHER , which can also be accessed directly from Salzderhelden (Monday-Friday).
