We are always up to something!
Einbeck is a small, romantic timber-framed town. But considerably, we have a lot of sights and we are always up to something! Just to mention three of them, don’t miss the Eicke House with its fantastic wood-carvings, visit the Old Town Hall with the three distinctive towers and walk on the path of the city’s history to the Till-Eulenspiegel-Fountain in the historic Old Town!
There are many places where, in addition, you will find culture and art: You can visit different events, and experience craftwork and a lot more. If you pay close attention whilst walking through the streets of our city centre, you will discover a lot of colourful street-art.
Very colourful it is as well, when the booths are put up for our festivals, for example Einbeck’s Spring Market, the Eulenfest (Owl Festival) or Einbeck’s cosy Christmas Village. That’s when there are really a lot of people in our town.
That’s too much for you? So just retreat to one of our museums from time to time – the PS.SPEICHER with its countless vintage cars or the TownMuseum (StadtMuseum) where you will find everything related to our town – quiet places but exciting and informative at the same time.
