The easiest way to get to Einbeck is by car, because Einbeck is directly connected to federal road B3.

From motorway A7 (exit Northeim-Nord) it takes only about 20 minutes until you arrive in Einbeck.

By the way, parking is free of charge in our large parking lot at the station (New Town Hall, Köppenweg)! From there, you simply continue on foot.

• From the West: A44 and A7 - Exit Northeim-Nord
• From the North: A7 - Exit Echte
• From the South: A7 - Exit Northeim-Nord
• From the East: A2 and A7 - Exit Echte

From Gottingen or Hannover you arrive by train. From Gottingen you get to Einbeck central train station directly without changing trains. From Hannover you have to change once, in Salzderhelden.

From there you take the small train Ilmebahn via Einbeck Otto-Hahn-Straße train station directly to Einbeck central train station. Our station is situated centrally – on foot it takes only about 7 minutes to walk to our historic Old Town

The long-distance trains are well connected to Einbeck’s train stations via the stations in Kreiensen and Einbeck-Salzderhelden.

Via the ICE train station Gotting (30  min) there are hourly connections to/from Einbeck Mitte (Einbeck central train station).

Via ICE station Hannover there are hourly connections to/from Einbeck Salzderhelden. Change trains to the regional train line RB86 to Einbeck Mitte (Einbeck central train station)

or further to PS.SPEICHER Train Stop.

Several long-distance cycling routes pass directly through Einbeck or close to Einbeck.

The easiest way to get to our town is to follow the signs of the cycling route R1 or our circular cycling routes with the beautiful names Salz und Burgen (Salt and Castles) or Brücken und Grenzen (Bridges and Borders).

• From the West: Hullersen – into the city via the streets Am Butterberg, Königsberger Straße, Walkemühlenweg, Hullerser Straße.
• From the East: Volksen – into the city via the street Grimsehlstraße

Via Leine-Heide-Cycling-Route

• From the South: Northeim respectively Sülbeck – into the city via the streets Altendorfer Tor, Altendorfer Straße
• From North-East: Volksen – into the city via the street Grimsehlstraße
