Saltworks Salzderhelden tells the history of a village.
However, due to a fire in July 2020 the saltworks drilling rig II, dated 1884, burned to its grounds. The salt water reservoir as well as the salt water bathhouse were spared by the fire. There are plans for the reconstruction of the saltworks.
It is possible to schedule a visit to the salt water reservoir (contact for appointments: Herr Wessel; Tel.: +49 151 70145245).
