Culture and sights:
- Built on an artificial hill, with meter-thick walls made of sandstone blocks and originally surrounded by small moats, is the fortified church today St. George's Chapel. This probably dates back to the 13th century.
The village community hall (DGH) in Vardeilsen, built in 1983, has already been renovated several times. It is used for sporting purposes as well as for meetings, gatherings or (family) celebrations. It is barrier-free. There is a defibrillator at the village hall. More information as well as pictures of the village community center and the contact for usage requests can be found here.
There is also a barbecue hut, located slightly away from the village on the edge of the forest, which invites people to get together. The current contact person for the barbecue hut is listed here.
