Einbecker Kinder- und Familienbüro

The EinbeckerKinder- und Familienbüro, or "EinKiFaBü" for short, is a cooperation project between the town of Einbeck and the district of Northeim and is also funded by the Lower Saxony State Office for Social Affairs, Youth and Family.

It works together with many agencies in order to offer optimal solutions for families and the EinKiFaBü sees itself as a contact point for the transfer of information, referral and initial clarification of questions relating to the topic of family. For example, advice is available by appointment on child and parental allowance, maternity benefit and maternity leave or crèche fees 

The EinKiFaBü aims to ensure that support measures for families and children are better accepted, among other things. In addition, better support options are to be developed specifically for single parents, disadvantaged families and families with a migration background.

The EinKiFaBü is continuously working on projects on various topics, for example:

• District project Mobilo - Strong Parents - Strong Children in "Lindeneck": aims to help families with a migration background to accompany their children on their educational journey; the "MOBILO" construction trailer is equipped with creative materials and invites children to crafts and games
• homework help, information evenings and courses in an apartment provided by the Einbeck housing association
• World Children's Day festival
• children's interactive concert
• varied toddler groups in different age groups
