  • Einbeck

Hallensen,  the northern town of Einbeck approx. 7 km away, is located close to the B3.

Alongside Bruchhof, Hallensen is the smallest village in the town of Einbeck with around 33 inhabitants (as of 02.01.2024). It is located above the floodplain of the Krumme Wasser and was first mentioned in documents in 1306 as "Hallenessen".

Culture and sights 

  • The small chapel is located in the center of the village above the thoroughfare. It was demolished and rebuilt in 1750 due to dilapidation.
The coat of arms of the village shows a golden mountain on the ground on a blue shield. A white waterline is placed above it. Above it, a golden scythe (right side) and a golden flail (left side) cross each other.
