The playground in the Offiziersgarten / am Krähengraben or Benser Mauer is mainly used by children between the ages of 4 and 12.
The play facilities include: a sandpit (log edging), a merry-go-round, a double swing, a salamander feathered animal and a bench for seating.
In summer 2023, the playground was redesigned / expanded into an attractive "fire department" themed playground with the new installation of "fire station" (two towers with suspension bridge) and "fire engine" combination play equipment made of naturally grown robinia wood with numerous items of equipment.
Toddler firefighting equipment also complements the facility. The equipment is designed to encourage role-playing and meet different levels of difficulty in terms of movement. The proportions, design and natural materials allow them to blend into the sensitive surroundings of the ramparts along the historic city wall.
The soccer field with goals can be used in front of the playground.
