Stahlskulptur "Von Null bis Unendlich"

Short facts

  • Einbeck

The steel sculpture by Timm Ulrichs is located on the market square in Einbeck.

The art work "From Zero to Infinity" by Timm Ulrichs made of stainless steel is mounted on two tall stands next to the market church in Einbeck and consists of a curved tube. This tube is set in motion by hidden motors and then displays the zero and the infinity sign. This continuous movement from "zero to infinity to zero and infinity" is intended to symbolize the interaction of tradition and future in Einbeck's history. For Ulrichs, his artwork thus symbolizes the brand essence of the city of Einbeck.
On the sidewalk of Pastorenstraße, in the direction of Breil, there is a red painted dot. If you stand on this dot, you can clearly see the change in the sculpture from zero to infinity and vice versa.
