The Neustädter Kirchplatz is directly adjacent to the Brauerei and the Amtsgericht Einbeck .
On Neustädter Kirchplatz stood the late Gothic Parish Church of St. Mary, built in the 15th century. After a fire in 1826, the church was rebuilt between 1840 and 1846.In 1963 it was demolished again due to dilapidation. Some parts of the church were transferred to the newly built Marienkirche on Sülbecksweg.
