The innovative active playground in the heart of Einbeck’s pedestrian precinct invites to play.
Due to a fire, one of the houses in the row burnt to the ground leaving a free space close to Einbeck’s Market Square. This free area was transformed into an attractive City Centre Playground with climbing wall in 2020.
The playground in the city centre offers seating facilities with table and view of the pedestrian precinct and there is a small boulder wall for adolescents. A central free area offers enough space to play together and in the back area there are various playing opportunities for climbing, sliding and to play in the sand.
The City Centre Playground offers a child care concept. During 15 hours per week, two qualified child carers are available at the playground during attractive shopping and market times.
