Founded in 2004, Music School M1 today has more than 700 children, young people and adults among its students.
The Music School M1 in Einbeck offers weekly music lessons in a wide variety of areas. These include guitar, clarinet, accordion, trombone, violin, flute and recorder, piano, singing and bass. Music students should get used to performing on stage and making music together in a group as early as possible through general music lessons.
The music school organizes student concerts, summer festivals, performances at the Owl Festival and Christmas student concerts in the forum of the BBS Einbeck. It has a large catchment area extending as far as the districts of Holzminden, Osterode and Hildesheim.
Students are accompanied through the world of music and can take part in band coaching, performances or workshops. The music school offers everyone what they need to have fun with music. Songs can be recorded in the school's own recording studio, you can form your own band or prepare for entrance exams at universities or conservatories, for example.

The three founders of the M1 music school are Dimitrios Gatsios, Marcus Kümmerling and Stephan Ohst.
In 1990, the three musicians started their own band and recorded their first songs in the Peppermint Park studios in Hanover in 1992/1993. After the release of their second album Scream and the formation of the band Chair-o-plane, the decision was made in 2004 to open their own music school.
