The village of Immensen is located approx.5.5 km south of the town of Einbeck in a side valley of the Leinetal.

Immensen, a village and southern town of the city of Einbeck, which is approx. 5.5 km away, lies on the L 572, on the Leine-Heide-Radweg and on the Radrundweg Salz und Burgen  and has approx. 329 inhabitants (as of 02.01.2024). The nature reserve Leinepolder borders on the village.
The village is one of the oldest places in the district of Einbeck and was known in the first half of the 20th century for its Pepperworks.

Culture and sights 


Furthermore, in Immensen:
Farm shop, where you can buy seasonal regional agricultural produce such as potatoes, tomatoes, flowers etc.

As well as a village store "Die Alte Backstube", which is well-known and popular beyond the borders of Immensen.

At the entrance to the village, coming from Einbeck, is the Immensen kindergarten, which is attended by children from Immensen and the surrounding villages.

The circular cycle route "Salt and castles" leads past Immensen.
