The Coppenbrügge castle is the well-preserved ruins of a moated castle.

Coppenbrügger Castle was built around 1300 by the Counts of Spiegelberg. Heavily damaged in the "Spiegelberg Feud" of 1434, it was not rebuilt until 1507 with elements of the early Weser Renaissance style. The castle was demolished in 1822 and has been used as a museum since 1985;
