  • Einbeck

Billerbeck is a district of Einbeck. The village lies in the middle of the Aue and Leine Valley.

Billerbeck is located approx. 12 km north-east of the town of Einbeck. Billerbeck has been incorporated into the municipality of Kreiensen since March 1, 1974. The village has approx. 271 inhabitants (as of 02.01.2024), lies 130 m above sea level and covers a total area of 38 ha.

Nature & Landscape:
In Billerbeck there are several hiking trails with rest stops. There are 14 benches to rest on during a hike or a walk. The Hopfenberg invites you to take a walk. You can see a stork's nest and, with luck, spot beavers in the wet meadows.
The Billerbeck landscape is particularly appealing with a view of the Leine and Auetal, the Bahnhof Kreiensen, of the Auetalbrücke (double-track railroad overpass of the Hanover - Würzburg high-speed rail line) from above and of Bad Gandersheim.
Furthermore, the Leine meadows invite you to go cycling and the village is located on the Leine-Heide-Radweg.

Gastronomy:Events:
The autumn market and the forest festival are the highlights of the village. Both festivals are held alternately every year.
The Herbstmarkt takes place for young and old at a central location in the village. Adults can enjoy the day and children can let off steam in the well-equipped playground.
The Forest Festival takes place in the middle of the forest with coffee and cake or a barbecue and a draught beer in the open air. Conversations are held, there is dancing and a colorful hustle and bustle.
